Why Wallace & Gromit's latest antagonist is one of the greatest villains in film history
Vulture staff writer Devon Ivie unpacks what makes penguin thief Feathers McGraw so evil — and so watchable
Almost 20 years after the release of The Curse of the Were-Rabbit, the lovable claymation duo Wallace and Gromit return for another family-friendly adventure — this time, with a sinister twist.
Wallace & Gromit: Vengeance Most Fowl is the second feature film in the popular British comedy franchise, and is now available to stream in Canada on Netflix. It follows the dog Gromit as he becomes concerned about how his owner, Wallace, is becoming increasingly dependent on his inventions.
Meanwhile, a villain from Wallace and Gromit's past returns to exact his revenge on the duo: the one and only Feathers McGraw (who some fans may recognize from the early Wallace & Gromit short, The Wrong Trousers).
Today on Commotion, Vulture staff writer Devon Ivie chats with host Elamin Abdelmahmoud about the new film, and what makes Feathers McGraw one of the best cinematic villains of all time.
