How a Radiohead song changed musician Charlotte Cardin's life
The Montreal singer-songwriter tells us about the song that made her want to write her own music.
Montreal singer-songwriter Charlotte Cardin has a knack for writing equally poetic lyrics in French and English (listen to "Faufiles" and "Big Boy") and making music that is minimalistic yet emotional and haunting.
With the recent release of her EP Big Boy through Cult Nation that mixes jazz, R&B and electropop, we wanted to know about the one song that changed her life. In this video, Cardin tells us about how "No Surprises" by Radiohead made her want to write her own music.
You can catch Cardin performing across Canada starting January 14, 2016. Tour dates are on her website.
