Event: The City of Langley Library will be streaming the show throughout the week.

St. Albert's Public Library
Event: St. Albert's Public Library will hold a mock debate on March 23rd based on the books in contention. It will feature speakers from different professional backgrounds — from educators to entrepreneurs.

Event: The Olds Municipal Library will celebrate the winner of Canada Reads 2018 with a public discussion of each of the books.

Event: Residents of Selkirk can discuss the Canada Reads finalist every day the show airs.

Event: Mark Sakamoto, the author of the Canada Reads shortlisted memoir Forgiveness, will read from his work and reflect on its themes at a regional event hosted by All in a Day's Alan Neal.

Event: The Toronto book club will meet to discuss the results of Canada Reads 2018. Participants can discuss the shortlisted books and highlights from the week's debates.

Event: The museum that inspired Sharon Bala's The Boat People will host a book reading and conversation with the author. In addition to a book signing, the evening will also include a tour of the museum's exposition Refuge Canada from 6 - 6:40 pm.
