Double murder suspected in grisly East Vancouver discovery

Police are investigating what they believe is a double murder following the discovery of the bodies of a man and woman in an East Vancouver home Saturday evening.

Police are investigating an apparent double murder following the discovery of the bodies of a man and woman in an East Vancouver home Saturday evening.

Investigators were called to a home on Dieppe Place near Dieppe Drive shortly before 10 p.m. PT.

Upon entering the home, officers found a man and woman dead.

VPD Sgt. Randy Fincham says police believe the pair were murdered. Their deaths are being treated as homicides.

The murders are Vancouver's sixth and seventh homicides of 2016.
