Search underway for Ida Cragnolini, 70, missing in Trail, B.C.

RCMP, search and rescue and members of the public are looking for 70-year-old Ida Cragnolini, who was last seen Sunday afternoon in Trail, B.C.
Cragnolini left her home near the Waneta Plaza shopping mall and was last seen around 4 p.m. PT in the east Trail area, according to Mike Hudson with South Columbia Search and Rescue.
Cragnolini has brown eyes and short brown hair.
She's four feet eight inches tall and weighs approximately 150 pounds.
She was last seen wearing a bright red jacket and carrying a yellow umbrella.
Cragnolini suffers from dementia and has little to no short term memory, according to the RCMP.
"She was headed to see a friend and unfortunately never made it," Hudson said.
Thirty-five search and rescue members along with nearly 90 volunteers are looking for Cragnolini in western Trail, according to Hudson.
"We will work our way up to the Warfield and Rossland areas as well around Teck Cominco, headed towards Castlegar," he said.
"It's quite a large urban search."
Cragnolini is well-known in Trail's Italian community, according to Hudson.
She moved to Christina Lake B.C, several years ago but had since returned to Trail.
