Vancouver police aim to identify men taking video at Pacific Centre Mall
Police say the men were seen taking images of the mall's entrances and exits
Vancouver police say they're looking to identify three men seen taking photos and video inside Pacific Centre Mall in Downtown Vancouver on Tuesday at about 6:30 p.m. PT.
The men, who police describe as Middle Eastern-looking, were seen taking photos and video of the mall's entrances and exits, say police.
"There is no information to believe that these men have committed a crime. Nor do we have information to believe that the public is currently at risk," said police in a written statement.
However, the VPD says it does want to speak to the men.
Security personnel at the mall tried to locate them but were not successful, say police.
"Public safety remains our top priority and we are working with mall security and management to ensure the safety of visitors and staff," said police.
Anyone with information is asked to contact the Vancouver Police Department at 604-717-3235.
