1 dead after motorcycle crash in southwest

One man is dead after a motorcycle crash Saturday afternoon in southwest Calgary.

Driver was pronounced dead at the scene

One man is dead after a motorcycle crash Saturday afternoon in southwest Calgary.

Around 1 p.m. MT, police say the driver of a motorcycle in the westbound lane of Glenmore Trail lost control of the bike near 37th Street and was thrown into the eastbound lane.

The motorcycle driver was then struck by other vehicles and was pronounced dead at the scene.

There were no other injuries.

As of 3:35 p.m., police completed their investgiation and have re-opened all roads in the area.
