This week, one of Alberta's biggest musical stars — and one of our funniest people — Jann Arden!

You'll hear both sides of Jann Arden: soulful singer and songwriter; and very funny onstage host. She'll perform onstage at the Orpheum Theatre in Vancouver, with the producer of her new album, Bob Rock. Together the two co-host the 2018 Juno Songwriter's Circle.

You'll hear Jann and Bob tell stories from their most recent trip to the recording studio to make Jann's new album, These Are the Days, which she considers her best work in 20 years. Some of what you hear may surprise you, including where Jann thinks is the ideal place to listen to her songs!

One of the guests on this year's Juno Songwriter's Circle, is Edmonton's own 22-year-old rising star Ruth B. You'll hear her sing the song that put her on your radar — and earned her the 2017 Juno for Breakthrough Artist of the Year, and several 2018 nominations, including Album of the Year.

Plus — preview an upcoming new release by Edmonton band The Hearts (Sunshine, set to release May 25); and a new track from Calgary's Souls in Rhythm to get you dancing ahead of your Saturday night!
