Cherry blossoms and perennial flowers are in bloom on the West Coast, and residents have already taken to the beaches for volleyball and other healthy spring activities.

Meanwhile, Prince Edward Islanders are digging their way out of 70 cm of fresh snow. That, along with the biting wind, is not making everyone happy.
The P.E.I. government asked residents to stay home if possible Tuesday after a blizzard dumped a record 86.8 cm of snow at Charlottetown Airport on Sunday and Monday.
