Legendary Canadian prog rock outfit Rush will make a stop in Hamilton as part of the band's upcoming tour.
The trio is scheduled to perform at Copps Coliseum on July 6. They will be touring in support of their most recent album Clockwork Angels, which was released in June. The gig will give Rush's drummer and lyricist Neil Peart a chance to come home. He was born in Hagersville, Ont. just outside of Hamilton.
The tour kicks off on April 23 in Austin, T.X., only five days after the group is set to be formally inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
Tickets for the Hamilton show go on sale on Feb. 22 and will be available at the Copps Coliseum box office and online at Ticketmaster.ca. Prices start at $42.50 and go up to $118.50.
