Kamloops City Council to review wine sales at grocery stores
Wines sales in grocery stores when there's a liquor store a hop, skip and a jump away. A liquor store is fermenting at the prospect. We'll find out why.
Should grocery stores be allowed to sell wine if a liquor is less than one kilometre away?
Should wine be sold in Kamloops grocery stores? What if there's a liquor store less than a kilometer away? Last August, Council already made a decision to ban wine sales from grocery stores, if there's less than a kilometer distance.
But City Council will be reviewing that decision later today. Specifically with regards to Save-On-Foods in Sahali.
We were joined by Al Deacon. He's the owner of the Sahali Liquor Store, a liquor store that's less than a kilometer away from Save-On-Foods.
