Driver seriously hurt after car, transport truck collide on Hwy. 401 near Ingersoll

Hwy. 401 westbound was closed for several hours near Ingersoll early Friday morning east of London after a crash between a car and transport truck. 

First responders from Oxford County were called to the highway at about 2:45 a.m. after the collision. The driver of the car was taken to hospital with serious but non life-threatening injuries. 

The driver of the truck was not injured. 

Hwy. 401 was closed at Culloden Road for several hours and the investigation is ongoing.
