Thanksgiving is coming up fast and we are here to help you make the most of it. First, we want you to share your biggest turkey day mishaps with us on our morning show so we can reward the BEST FAIL with a FREE FEAST.

Fairmont Winnipeg's Turkey Takeout dinner is valued at $375. It includes a full turkey for 15 people, a cellar vegetable medley, freshly baked rolls and butter, apple and sage stuffing, homemade cranberry sauce, buttermilk mashed potatoes, thyme pan gravy, and choice of pecan or pumpkin pie.

RECIPE: Chef Palmer's signature stuffing
...aka, the best stuffing recipe you'll ever make! Last year, Chef Palmer showed us how to make his favourite stuffing dish and after one bite we fell into a comfort-food-coma. *swoon*
Prep time: 15 minutes
Cook time: 35 minutes
Ingredients
1 pound bacon, cut into ½ inch pieces.
½ cup butter.
1 cup onion, chopped finely.
1 cup celery, chopped.
5 sprigs of fresh thyme, sage and parsley, chopped roughly.
2 loaves of day-old white bread, torn into small pieces.
1 cup fresh turkey stock (or chicken stock).
Directions
Preheat oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit.
- Place bacon in a large skillet and cook over medium-high heat for 5 to 10 minutes until cooked through but still slightly soft.
- Melt butter on medium heat in the same skillet bacon was cooked in. Add the chopped onion and celery until softened (approx 5 minutes).
- Sprinkle chopped fresh herbs into the mixture and toss.
- Add bread pieces to the sauté and mix well.
- Pour turkey stock (or chicken stock) over the bread and toss again.
- Place stuffing on a baking dish and bake until top is crispy (approx 25 minutes).
