Winnipeg police issue silver alert for missing 81-year-old man last seen in River East area

Winnipeg police have issued a silver alert for a missing 81-year-old man last seen on Tuesday.

Winnipeg police have issued a silver alert for a missing 81-year-old man.

Earl Moberg was last seen in the Winnipeg's River East area around 6 p.m. Tuesday, according to police.

He is described as five feet, seven inches tall with a medium build as well as short white hair and a white beard.

He was wearing a dark blue or green parka at the time of his disappearance, police say.

Police said on Wednesday Moberg could also be wearing beige cargo pants and a navy blue military style jacket.

There are concerns for Moberg's well-being. Police ask that anyone with information regarding his whereabouts contact the missing persons unit at 204-986-6250.
