MPI warns of phony customer email survey

A survey popping up in the inboxes of Manitoba Public Insurance customers is not what it seems.

Survey promises respondents money for completing survey, says Manitoba Public Insurance

A survey popping up in the inboxes of Manitoba Public Insurance customers is not what it seems.

MPI said it's not behind a recent customer email survey that has been appearing in pop-up windows on Internet browsers. It advised customers to not respond to the survey.

The insurer said while it does conduct customer-satisfaction polling, it never does so by email.

The phony pop-up survey promises a gift of more than $50 and is intended to generate traffic and sales leads for dubious sites.
