A boil water advisory for the town of Saint Andrews has been lifted after two days.

Just before midnight on Tuesday, the town posted a message on social media saying the boil water advisory was put in  place by Public Health because of work being done on the water treatment plant.

On his social media, Mayor Brad Henderson posted updates throughout. On Wednesday morning, he shared that the work on the water system was complete and three consecutive clean-water tests had to be completed to lift the advisory.

Now, residents no longer need to boil their water before drinking it.
