3 rollovers in 1 day prompt police traffic warning
The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary is asking drivers to slow down in rainy conditions, after two motor vehicle accidents in the St. John's area Friday morning, and one in the afternoon.
A single car headed eastbound on the Outer Ring Road near the Allandale Road exit rolled over around 10:30 a.m.
Police said the female driver was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
We are all clear from the ORR following a rollover. Pls slow down, hydro planing is a real thing! <a href="https://twitter.com/hashtag/nltraffic?src=hash">#nltraffic</a> <a href="https://twitter.com/hashtag/poltwt?src=hash">#poltwt</a> <a href="http://t.co/kvRF8tGCvF">pic.twitter.com/kvRF8tGCvF</a>

Police said witnesses reported the driver was travelling at the speed limit.
However, it was raining and there was standing water on the roads, leading to a risk of hydroplaning.
"The speed limit is a suggested speed, in ideal conditions," said RNC Const. Geoff Higdon.
Around the same time Friday, a car collided with a parked vehicle on Bonaventure Avenue, rolling over and landing in the middle of the road.
The driver was unhurt in that crash, and police don't expect any charges to be laid.
Friday afternoon, emergency crews were once again called into action, for another accident on the Outer Ring Road, at the Donovans off-ramp. The vehicle in that case ended up on its roof.
