Bell Island trailer fire seems suspicious, police say

RCMP are investigating yet another instance of a suspicious fire on Bell Island — this time involving a travel trailer.

By the time police and fire crews arrived on the scene Saturday, police say the unoccupied trailer was totally engulfed in flames and was destroyed.

Police are investigating several other suspicious fires that have occurred in the last several months in various parts of the community.

Anyone with information concerning the fires is asked to contact the Bell Island RCMP detachment or Crime Stoppers.
