Cassidy Little left St. John's to pursue a career as a comedian in the United Kingdom, but wound up losing a leg during a combat mission in Afghanistan.
Little was chosen to be the face of the Royal British Legion's poppy campaign this year, with his prosthetic leg prominently featured in a poster.
