2 teenagers in hospital after Cape Breton crash
One 17-year-old girl was flown to Halifax with life threatening injuries and another is in hospital in Sydeny after a single vehicle crash on the Trans-Canada Highway near Dalem Lake, say police.
One 17-year-old girl was flown to Halifax with life threatening injuries and another is in hospital in Sydney after a single vehicle crash on the Trans-Canada Highway near Dalem Lake, say police.
Both girls are from Sydney.
"Approximately at 3:40 this morning RCMP and Cape Breton Regional Police received a 911 call alerting us to the single vehicle crash," said RCMP Cpl. Ron MacDonald.
"It went off onto the shoulder on the right and appears to have over corrected, come across the highway and rolled into the opposite ditch."
The Cape Breton Regional Police and RCMP are investigating the crash.
