17-year-old facing charges of dangerous driving causing death, injury
A warrant has been issued for a teenager who did not show up for his first provincial court appearance in Port Hood Tuesday in connection with a fatal car crash in Inverness County, N.S., last summer.
The 17-year-old faces six charges including dangerous driving causing death and three counts of dangerous driving causing bodily harm.
Logan Patrick MacIntyre, 17, Morgan Christopher MacIntyre, 19, and Joel Cecil Chandler, 20, died when the car in which they and four others were travelling went off the road and flipped over on July 22.
All but the driver were thrown from the vehicle. The four other occupants were seriously injured.
The teenager cannot be named because of his age.
