Local public servants react to proposed disability changes

Ottawa public servants say they feel targeted by proposed changes to their sick leave and disability programs at the beginning of National Public Service Week.

Local public servants say they feel targeted after Tony Clement announced changes to their sick leave and disability programs on Monday – the start of National Public Service Week.

The Treasury Board President said the way federal public servants bank sick days is outdated and it will be replaced with new short-term and long-term disability plans.
