Regina police have issued a Canada-wide arrest warrant for a Regina man in connection with a shooting at the Pump Roadhouse on April 29.

Police say Omar Abdi Hakim Haji-Hussein, 30, is facing two charges of attempted murder, however they have not been able to locate him.

Two men, a 22-year-old and a 35-year-old, were taken to hospital following the incident at the nightclub to receive treatment for their gunshot wounds.

In a press release, the Regina Police Service said Haji-Hussein also goes by the name Abdi Hakim Omar or 'Z.'

The Pump Roadhouse reopened its doors on May 5 for Thirsty Thursday less than a week after the incident. Staff underwent group counseling sessions following the shooting. Additionally, the Pump received outside help from Impact Security.

On May 5, owner Mark Smith said he plans on putting security staff through extra training during the summer. The program is certified through the province's justice ministry. Smith also said he was looking into identification card scanning technology.

The police have not released a photo of Haji-Hussein, but have asked the public to come forward should they have any information.

Haji-Hussein is described as being 6'2" and weighs about 250 pounds.

Police urge people to be cautious if they know the suspect and to not approach him.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Regina police.
