Weather warnings, road conditions prompt school bus cancellations throughout northeastern Ontario
Several school buses are cancelled in northeastern Ontario due to the weather, road conditions and weather warnings.
Area schools are open
Severak school buses are cancelled in northeastern Ontario due to the weather, road conditions and weather warnings.
Buses are cancelled from Wawa, south to Sault Ste. Marie. They're also cancelled east along Highway 17 over to Mattawa. That includes routes on Mantioulin Island, Sudbury and North Bay. Buses are not running south of Highway 17 down to Parry Sound.
Buses are also cancelled in the Timmins area, including Matheson, Iroquois Falls and Cochrane.
Area schools are open. Parents who take their children to school are reminded that they must pick them up at the end of the school day.
