Freezing rain leads to GTA school closures, bus cancellations
Ice day for some GTA students ahead of long weekend
A number of school cancellations across the Greater Toronto Area this morning mean that some kids will get an extra long, long weekend.

The following school boards have closed all schools and board offices today:
- Dufferin-Peel Catholic School Board
- Halton Catholic School Board
- Halton District School Board
- Peel School Board
- CS Viamonde in Peel, Halton, Guelph, Orangeville and Waterloo
Meanwhile, these school boards have cancelled buses today, but their schools remain open:
