Police search for driver in fatal Scarborough hit-and-run

Toronto police have released a two-second video in hopes of finding the driver of a white Cadillac Escalade SUV wanted for striking and killing a 71-year-old pedestrian in Scarborough.

Toronto police have released a two-second video in hopes of finding the driver of a white Cadillac Escalade SUV, wanted for striking and killing a 71-year-old pedestrian in Scarborough.

Police allege the driver fled the scene of the deadly collision, which happened around 11:50 p.m. last Thursday in the McNicoll Avenue and Kennedy Road area.

The man who died was walking east on McNicoll in the south crosswalk when he was struck. 

He was taken to a trauma centre, but died of his injuries two days later.
