Customers line up at dawn for Honest Ed's goodbye party
'It's very hard to believe they will shut this iconic, beautiful location,' customer says
There were friendly rings of "good morning" earlier today as a long line of patient customers filed into Honest Ed's. After 68 years in business, the Toronto landmark is soon closing its doors and celebrated today with special giveaways and a barbecue bash.

"All my Canadian souvenirs, I buy here," said longtime customer and fan Toros Djerdjein, who made a point of wearing some of those very souvenirs on Sunday. "It's very hard to believe they will shut this iconic, beautiful location."
Another customer, Ruth, was one of the first in line, at 6:30 a.m. She told CBC News "it's been a blessing to have it in Toronto" and was hoping to snag one of the commemorative t-shirts Honest Ed's had produced for the occasion.
The festivities continued all day, with DJ Skratch Bastid hosting a party at the store from 2-10 p.m.
