A jury has been watching video of the police interrogation of Jennifer Pan, which occurred just hours after her parents were shot in a supposed home invasion in Markham, Ont., more than three years ago.

Pan is on trial for the first-degree murder of her mother and the attempted murder of her father.

Four other defendants face the same charges in the same case.

All five of the accused have pleaded not guilty to the charges.

Pan’s mother was fatally shot on the evening of Nov. 8, 2010. Her father survived the events of that evening and has testified in the current trial.

The Crown has alleged that Pan arranged to have her parents killed in a staged home invasion.

For the past few days of the trial, the jury has been watching video of the interrogation of Pan.

The jury has already heard audio from the 911 call that Pan made to police that night.
