A 40-year-old man has been charged with impaired driving causing death following a fatal crash in Mississauga Friday morning. 

Ahmad Rihawi is facing three charges in connection to the collision, which happened at Confederation Parkway and Burnhamthorpe Road just before 5:30 a.m.

Police say Rihawi's car t-boned another vehicle at the intersection.

The 44-year-old woman driving the other vehicle was killed in the crash. 

Rihawi is expected to appear in bail court this afternoon.
