Suspect identified in Dundas Square shooting over the weekend
Two victims were taken to hospital for non-life-threatening injuries
Toronto Police are looking for a man who allegedly fired multiple shots at Yonge and Dundas Square over the weekend.
The shooting happened early Sunday after two men started having a "verbal confrontation," said police.
The suspect then drew a gun from his waistband and shot at the other man four times, police say.
Police said one of the shots flew across the street and hit another man standing in Yonge-Dundas Square.
Both victims were taken to a hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.
Police are searching for the suspect and are asking for the public's assistance.
The suspect was identified as a 22-year-old Toronto man.
He is described as five feet nine inches tall, 160 pounds with medium complexion. He has a tattoo with the word "Yoanis" written on his upper left arm, say police.
Police are asking anyone with information to call 416-808-5200 or anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 416-222-8477.
