Flint water crisis: Windsor Spitfires deliver 66,000 bottles of water

The city is in a state of crisis after lead began leaching into the drinking water after the city unhooked from the Detroit water system and hooked itself into the Flint River, which is corrosive and ruining infrastructure.
The Spitfires gathered the water over about 60 hours and dropped it off in Flint before their road game against the Flint Firebirds on Saturday night.
The water was hauled by two transport trucks donated by Uni-Fab in Leamington.
"The Flint Firebirds and the City of Flint are very thankful to everyone that took the time to donate to a good cause," the Firebirds said in a news release.
