Memorial Cup to take cross-province tour
The Community Tour of Champions will carry the major junior hockey prize across the province from August 5-11 — marking the first time the junior hockey prize will be brought directly to players' hometowns.

Spitfires fans will have a chance to get up close and personal with the Memorial Cup as it's carried on an Ontario-wide victory lap next month.
The Community Tour of Champions will transport the major junior hockey prize across the province from August 5-11 — marking the first time thetrophy will be brought directly to players' hometowns.
Here's a list of locations where you can catch the cup this summer:
- August 5th – Hamilton – Cristiano DiGiacinto and Austin McEneny
- August 7th – Newcastle – Hayden McCool
- August 8th – Ashburn – Adam Laishram
- August 9th – Holland Landing – Graham Knott
- August 10th – Orangeville – Jeremiah Addison and Tyler Nother
- August 11th – Waterloo – Logan Stanley
After the Ontario road trip, the cup will head to Michigan, making stops for American players from August 12-15.
