The Spitfires have two days off before they'll take on the OHL champion Erie Otters on Wednesday.

Thompson said the victories have helped the team build confidence, but they're staying focused on what it will take to win.

"We've had a mature group this year. They know this is still just beginning for us," he said. "There's a lot of work ahead of us and this was just another step in the right direction."
