Joshua Loon
Joshua Loon started working with CBC North two years ago. He co-hosts Winschgaoug, the early morning show, and contributes to Eyou Dipajimoon, the noon show. These Cree language radio shows service the James Bay region of Quebec. Loon is from the Cree community of Mistissini. He loves hunting and fishing, but mostly he enjoys being a new, first-time father.

5 children rescued from Quebec winter storm
On Friday afternoon, Jennifer Masty-Shecapio and her family took three snowmobiles out on Mistissini Lake, in the James Bay region of Quebec. Jennifer, her husband Morley, their children and one-year-old grandson were on their way to the family cabin when two of their snowmobiles broke down.
