Canadians celebrate voting with selfies and hashtags galore
Canadians are heading to the polls today to decide the shape of the next federal Parliament, and many are taking to Twitter to help get the vote out online.
Whether it's posting polling station selfies or just urging others to vote, Canadians are using Twitter to show they're getting involved in politics.
Hashtags like #Elxn42 and #GoVote2015 are popular, but in a 78-day campaign, Canada has had the time to come up with some pretty interesting hashtags to help spread the word on Twitter.
There's the hashtag #youthvote to encourage young people to get to the polls.
