Kamaran Mawlood came to Canada as a refugee in 2016. He founded Kamo Bakery on Victoria Drive as a testament to his journey to a new life in Vancouver. Drawing from generations of bakers, his family continues to craft traditional Middle Eastern breads, along with paklava and sweets inspired by their family recipes.
