Freeland says some premiers in favour of robust response to threatened U.S. tariffs
Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister Chrystia Freeland says premiers proactively identified products that their provinces produce and export to the United States that should be targets for a Canadian response to threatened U.S. tariffs. Freeland spoke after a meeting Prime Minister Justin Trudeau held with all of the premiers on U.S.-Canada relations ahead of president-elect Donald Trump's return to the White House.
