The high-profile construction project was built to improve access to the busy, and ever-growing Galway development and reduce traffic on Pitts Memorial Drive. It was a unique project in that motorists didn’t notice the major work — at least when it came to slow downs — as a four-lane diversion was built as a temporary measure.
