Why 'chatty man' Alan Carr won't stop talking

"Fat. Goofy. Gay." Alan Carr says the things he hated about himself growing up have now become his trademarks.
He is not a man of few words. Award-winning U.K. comic and Chatty Man talk show host has come to run his mouth in Montreal. (Susan Mckenzie)

Voice like a seagull. Teeth like toe separators. Chattier than his very chatty mum. Alan Carr says the things he hated about himself growing up have now become his trademarks.

The award-winning U.K. comic and Chatty Man show host is known for funny, fast conversation with A-list guests —like Benedict Cumberbatch, Rihanna, Lady Gaga — and his knack for convincing them to get "a little bit tiddly" on television.

Carr joins guest host Rachel Giese to discuss growing up "fat, goofy and gay," his most memorable chats, and why it doesn't matter if some people don't get you.

The gifted gabber is currently running his mouth in Montreal with his stage show Yap Yap Yap!, as part of the Just For Laughs festival.
