How much of your holiday shopping are you doing online and why?

Michelle here. I don't know about you, but even thinking about shopping for gifts for my family and friends gets me feeling edgy. The crowds, the line-ups, the way I end up wandering aimlessly looking at things and not deciding...and yet, I still do most of my shopping this way, physically, in stores, because I am a tactile person. I find it really difficult to buy things online that I can't see and touch.

More often than not, when I do buy things online that aren't books, I end up being disappointed. Jewelry is never as great as I think it's going to be - always looking a bit cheaper and a lot smaller than I thought it would be (or in one case bigger!) Yes, I know there are specs, but I guess I just need my hands to really get a (ahem) feel for it.

But ugh, the December shopping crowds. It's a no-win situation, either way! So in the end, I usually do a bit of both. How about you? How much of your holiday shopping are you doing online and why? I want to know for this week's show, so leave your comments below!
