Missing: Former Egyptian President Mohamed Morsi & Khaled Al-Qazzaz

Even Egyptians opposed to the deposed President worry about his disappearance and what it may mean for the country's political future.
Supporters of Egypt's ousted president Mohamed Morsi says he's been kidnapped by General al-Sisi. Also missing is Morsi's secretary of foreign affairs Khaled Al -Qazzaz. We speak to his wife about her concerns for her husband's well-being.

"Basically our projection as FJP of foreign relations is basically, we would like first to maintain necessary stability for Egypt to flourish and prosper".Khaled Al-Qazzaz, secretary of foreign affairs to Mohamed Morsi

A year ago he had hopes for a stable Egypt -- today he is missing amid the country's chaos. Khaled Al-Qazzaz was the secretary of foreign affairs to the deposed Egyptian President Mohamed Morsi.

Neither he nor the former president have been seen since Mohamed Morsi was removed from power earlier this month. Protests supporting Morsi have continued unabated. The Egyptian military is calling for counter-protests to support the army and give it a mandate to "fight violence" -- perhaps a veiled threat to the Muslim Brotherhood and its supporters.

The popular uprising that divided Egypt now threatens to split it at the seams.
One woman with a intensely personal stake in the outcome is Sarah Attia. She's an Egyptian-Canadian married to Khaled Al-Qazzaz, the missing secretary of foreign affairs. Sarah Attia was in Cairo.

Gigi Ibrahim - Activist and Revolutionary Socialist

Gigi Ibrahim is an activist with Egypt's Revolutionary Socialist organization. She she took part in the protests calling for President Morsi's removal.

Gigi Ibrahim was in Cairo.
