Lilley is a huge fan of writing and reading poetry. She spoke to The Next Chapter about the book she is reading.

"A book I go back to is Ordinary Hours by Karen Enns. It's really what is perfect about poetry. For me, it's beautiful and comforting and poignant and surprising.

"She writes about ordinary life and is very insightful — and with such perception and beauty. I really do believe there's poetry in everything. And she finds that poetry in life, wherever it is."

Joanna Lilley's comments have been edited for length and clarity.
