Bright lights, small city: Stories from Hollywood to a Saskatchewan reserve

This week, we're heading from the bright lights of Hollywood to a northern Saskatchewan reserve to cover everything from Tinseltown's depiction of indigenous people to housing issues on remote reserves.

Craig Falcon played a key role on Leonardo DiCaprio's latest project, The Revenant, acting as the film's cultural advisor. He weighs in on how the film treated tradition and explains how he ended up on screen.

From her episode of Back Story, the CBC's Connie Walker shares what happens when reporters take on stories they have a personal connection with. After covering the Truth and Reconciliation Commission, Connie reflected on the first-hand legacy of residential schools.
