Monday's another full day of competing at the Rio Olympics. Here are four events in particular that you won't want to miss.
(Remember all of these events are live streamed on cbc.ca/olympics and on the CBC Rio 2016 app. We've also indicated what channel to watch if you want to view it on TV).
Canoe/Kayak: Mark Oldershaw and Adam van Koeverden take to the water (CBC)
Two of Canada's most experienced Canadian Olympians will take to the water today in the hopes of bringing home some hardware. Canoeist Mark Oldershaw, who won a bronze four years ago, will compete in his 1,000-metre heat 8 a.m. ET, hoping to move on to the semis and then medal round on Tuesday.
Kayaker Adam van Koeverden competes in his 1,000-metre race a little later in the morning, hoping to qualify through his heat and into the semis then medal round on Tuesday. This is van Koeverden's fourth Olympics, and he's won a medal at each of the last three.
Track & Field: Men's pole vault, women's steeplechase (CBC)
The 100-metre final may be over, but there's still lots of track and field action on offer, and the men's pole vault is one of the most high-profile on the docket for Monday. Canadian Shawn Barber is a strong medal contender in the event, having won gold at the world championships last year.
He's already qualified for the medal round, and comes in with the second-highest personal best of anyone in the competition, at six metres even. Frenchman Renaud Lavillenie, who won gold four years ago and is the current world record holder, is likely Barber's stiffest competition. He'll go try for gold at around 7:30 p.m. ET Monday evening.
Elsewhere on the track, Canadian Genevieve Lalonde goes in the 3,000-metre steeplechase, after having set a Canadian record in her qualification run on Saturday.
Men's volleyball: Canada's last tune-up match (TSN)
Canada's men's volleyball team is in decent shape to move on after four round-robin games, but they'll be looking for a win against Italy in their final tune-up match to guarantee their passage into the knockout stages.
The Italians should pose a tough opponent, however, currently sitting in first place in Pool A. The Top 4 teams in each pool move on, and Canada's currently in a four-way tie for second behind the Italians. They'll look to book their ticket to the quarter-finals on Monday evening with a win.
Gymnastics: Isabela Onyshko competes in final for beam (CBC)
Gymnastics so far has been the Simone Biles show, as the remarkable U.S. gymnast has already taken gold in the all-around and helped her team win gold in the team event.
But there's more gymnastic action to be had on Monday, and more medals to be handed out.
Canadian Isabela Onyshko has qualified for the finals on beam, starting at 2:30 p.m. ET. She's in tough against Biles and other contenders for a podium spot.
