A bizarre tip about a missing man from Toronto's Gay Village neighbourhood leads Police Detective Hank Idsinga to open up an investigation into an international cannibal ring. Police zero in on a local suspect, but not before two more victims are connected to the case. About the detective

Detective Hank Idsinga has spent 30 years with the Toronto Police Service. He has received multiple commendations and awards including the Ontario Homicide Investigators Association (OHIA) "Mike Matthews" Award (two-time recipient) and the OHIA Major Case Management Award. He is currently the Acting Inspector of the Homicide Unit.

About Project Houston

Project Houston was an investigative task force initiated in 2012 by the Toronto Police after three men, Majeed Kayhan, Skandaraj Navaratnam, and Abdulbasir Faizi, went missing from Toronto's Gay Village from 2010 to 2012. The task force operated for 18 months until it was shut down after finding no criminal evidence.
