Colson Whitehead on fighting through anger to write The Nickel Boys

Colson Whitehead is the Pulitzer Prize and National Book Award-winning author of The Underground Railroad. His highly-anticipated follow-up novel is called The Nickel Boys. Inspired by real events, the book is focused on two boys who are forced to endure sentences at an abusive reform school in Jim Crow-era Florida. Whitehead joined host Tom Power in the q studio to tell us more about his latest book, which is out now.
