In a new segment that we're calling the q Thursday Headliner, we're kicking off the show with a live performance from a band or artist we think you need to hear.

This week, our Thursday Headliner is Nigerian-born, Toronto-raised singer and rapper TOBi. He joined us to perform a few songs from his newly-released debut album, Still, and for a short chat with Tom Power about his particular brand of "unapologetic soul music."

TOBi was joined in studio by Ejji Smith and Mason Hyde, both on guitar and background vocals. Watch the full performances below.
