Fans of the beautiful game are invited to take a kick at a free trolley ride in downtown Winnipeg.

The Downtown Winnipeg BIZ is teaming up with the Winnipeg Trolley Company to offer the "Free-fa Bus" to fans of the FIFA Women's World Cup.

The entire circuit takes about six minutes and people can hop on or off at a number of stops.

"Downtown hotels have been booked solid with visitors from across the globe, all eager to take in FIFA soccer matches," said BIZ spokesman Jason Syvixay.

"We are excited to roll out the red carpet for our guests to the city and downtown, and to showcase our downtown's compelling experiences, like our delicious restaurants, exciting entertainment and welcoming hospitality."

The rides will be offered on June 8, 12, 15, and 16, between 9 p.m. and midnight.

The list of stops can be viewed on the Downtown Winnipeg Biz website.
